Once again Geoff Johns is put in charge of what is rapidly becoming my favorite series with this really excellent and necessary origin story. With a character like Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) many people may or may not know the origins as it is not as well known as Superman or Batman. What this origin story does is capture the original Hal Jordan origin as well as add in some very important and relevant pieces of information after GL's 'Rebirth'. This is a great novel and if you're just getting into the Green Lantern start here, you won't regret it, there is so much history behind the GL saga it is important to know where it all came from. I rented this graphic novel at my local library and it was well worth my time.Product details

Fantastic origin story. Well written, great art. I recommend it.
